FIA gana el concurso para la reforma integral del Edificio Sollube en Azca / FIA has won a competition for the refurbishment of the Sollube Building in Azca

Fenwick Iribarren ha ganado un concurso restringido para la reforma integral del edificio Sollube situado en AZCA en la plaza de Pablo Ruiz Picasso. Se trata de un edificio de 10 plantas con aparcamiento subterráneo y que albergará un uso mixto de espacio comercial en las tres plantas inferiores y de oficinas en el resto.
Surge el concepto de potenciar el espacio central sobre el que se genera el edificio, el gran hall interior. El Hall conecta las distintas experiencias espaciales existentes en el proyecto, desde las dobles alturas en los accesos hasta el gran patio central sobre el que vuelcan todas las oficinas.
Hacia el exterior el edificio se proyecta como un edificio moderno y nítido que entiende los problemas existentes del entorno y ofrece una solución global y elegante.
Fenwick Iribarren has won a restricted competition for the refurbishment of the “Sollube” Building located in AZCA in the Plaza de Pablo Ruiz Picasso. It’s a mixed use 10-storey building with underground parking and comprising of commercial areas on the three lower floors and offices in the rest.
The concept arises by enhancing the great interior entrance hall of the building located in the Central Square. The Hall connects all the different existing spatial experiences in the project, from the double heights in the entrances to the large central courtyard overlooking the offices.
From the outside, the building is projected as a modern design that addresses the existing problems of the environment and offers a global and elegant solution.
