Airbus develops a Masterplan in which the headquarters and management offices are located next to the runway, in a central place within the large factory complex in Getafe. The Headquarters design makes reference to the Aeronautical world, by way of a turbine; it´s circular in plan and is built around a central courtyard which could be used as a platform for events, showrooms, etc…

The dynamic circular plan simulates the movement of a turbine generating several floors with projections which highlight the dynamism of Airbus.  The management offices and a terrace are located on the roof with a direct view of the runway.  The entrance to the Main building is located next to an auditorium which helps in the flow of people towards the interior patio and later towards the entrance. The interior of the building is of double height which creates great special richness.

The Master Plan will be complete with other office buildings, a cafeteria and a data processing center which brings together the design of the complex connecting the north factory with the south factory.
