Cameldrome Movement System

Fenwick Iribarren were commissioned to develop a modern Cameldrome stadium and also to propose a movement system which allowed 450 VIP spectators to follow the camel race alongside the track, at speeds of up to 60 km/h.

Technology had recently been introduced to camel racing in the form of small robot jockeys, thus eliminating the ancient use of child jockeys. The lower monorail is for the 150 robot operators to follow the race. This eliminates the need for over 70 Land cruisers which are currently used to follow and control the camels.

This must be one of the most surprising and original architectural projects under way in the world today.
