Fenwick Iribarren was the successful bidder in the tender for a Shopping and Leisure Mall in Alboraya, Valencia; it consists of 230.000 constructed m2.

Said proposal develops the concept of a green sheet of gardens which rise to house commercial, leisure and cultural activities. The major obstacle of the project, the coexistence of the new building with the existing gardens, is overcome through the idea of folding bands of gardens, complementing the triangular geometry of the lot.

A large box crowns the central space which the green bands create in the fashion of a viewing room which will house movie theatres. Cinema and video art are precisely the ideas that determine the theme of the mall interior.
