Edificio Merlin

The project consists in the refurbishment of the “Sollube” Building located in AZCA in the Plaza de Pablo Ruiz Picasso. It’s a mixed use 10-storey building with underground parking and comprising of commercial areas on the three lower floors and offices in the rest.

The concept arises by enhancing the great interior entrance hall of the building located in the Central Square.  The Hall connects all the different existing spatial experiences in the project, from the double heights in the entrances to the large central courtyard overlooking the offices.  This transversal Hall guides users of the offices from the exterior to the reception located on the intermediate/middle level.

From the outside, the building is projected as a modern design that addresses the existing problems of the environment and offers a global and elegant solution.
