Se cumplen 25 años desde la inauguración de Edificio de Oficinas y Fábrica de Hitachi ubicado en Vacarrises, Barcelona.
Fue el primer proyecto representativo encargado al estudio Fenwick Iribarren desde que se fundó en 1990, y el primer edificio de Hitachi en Europa.
En la parcela se ubica un edificio de oficinas exento conformado por dos volúmenes unido por una pérgola central. La fábrica es un volumen neto, una caja funcional, pero con cierto cuidado en su relación de la fachada principal hacia el edificio de oficinas.
This month marks the 25th Anniversary since the inauguration of the Hitachi Factory & Office Building in Vacarisses, Barcelona.
It was the first significant project commissioned to Fenwick Iribarren since it was founded in 1990, and the first Hitachi Building in Europe.
The site is developed with an isolated office building comprising two volumes linked together by a central pergola. The separate factory building is a nett volume, a functional box, but with careful attention in the relationship of its principal facade towards the office building.
