EL viernes 25 de mayo Mark Fenwick participó en una conferencia en la Universidad Politécnica de Milán para el Máster de Gestión de Infraestructuras Deportivas. El objetivo de ésta fue profundizar en el estadio del RCD Espanyol como ejemplo de la UEFA, el cual está en estudio como modelo de estadio moderno a imitar en Europa.
Asimismo, se habló de los tres estadios que ha diseñado para el Mundial de Qatar, principalmente el desmontable. Este estadio cuenta con la particularidad de poder ser transportado posteriormente a aquellos lugares donde se necesiten, además de ser más fácil de mantener, más sostenible y más barato.
On the 25th May, Mark Fenwick participated in a Conference at the Polytechnic University of Milan for a Master in Management of Sports Facilities. The aim of this was to study in depth the RCD Espanyol Stadium, the subject of a UEFA study as a role model modern stadium in Europe.
Mark Fenwick also spoke about the three stadiums Fenwick Iribarren has designed for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, mainly the demountable one. This stadium is unique and following the World Cup can be transported to another city where needed, in addition to being easier to maintain, more sustainable and cheaper.
