The French company is renewing its presence in Madrid with an ambitious project involving the inauguration of its new headquarters in the Spanish capital, located at 546 Calle Alcalá, in front of Quinta de Torre Arias Park and next to its metro station. The launch marks the introduction of the company’s new working model in Spain, already successfully implemented in other locations such as Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, and France.
In response to the needs of a “hybrid working model where employees do not have a fixed place” and can move throughout the day, settling in spaces that best meet their needs, the company has opted for open-plan collaboration spaces without assigned seats. Coffee areas with work zones, silent rooms, or various-sized bubble spaces are complemented by a focus on office digitization.
The headquarters also feature 76 rooms equipped with interactive screens and digital whiteboard functionality, as well as technologies like Wifi-6. Additionally, there is a common area called “Ágora,” which boasts a screen of over 100 inches and a special audio and microphone system. The dining area is equipped with digital systems for ordering food directly, and there is a space technically equipped for audiovisual productions.
Finally, the offices include services or areas dedicated to employee well-being, highlighted by spacious terraces suitable for meetings or events. The headquarters also offer medical and physiotherapy services, a health coach, various facilities such as a new gym, a lactation room, and even a beauty centre with hairdressing services for employees or a boutique with product offerings for employees and visitors.
“I am especially proud of this project because it represents our culture and many of the values present in our corporate purpose ‘Create the beauty that moves the world’,” said Juan Alonso de Lomas, General Manager of Spain and Portugal at L’Oréal since the beginning of last year.
