The Avenue culminates in a large Plaza by the sea with a large waterfall that takes water from the bay itself. This road is a Smart Avenue, becoming a major spine of the city, and a linear park for the use and enjoyment of the public.
The concept aimed to create an urban avenue, not a urban motorway. The objective was revitalize and modernize the main street of DOHA, joining the Bay of Doha with the Royal Residence.
The Avenue has become one of the main symbols of the City and the Country, where it not only resolves the traffic requirements of the city, but also “Tells a Story” relating to the Culture and the Qatar Society Values in general.
