The leisure centre, Diversia, is located in the town of Alcobendas in a strategic location, as it is surrounded by office buildings and very close to two residential areas. Therefore, it becomes a meeting point for workers and residents of the area where they can find numerous dining options.

The approach taken for the architectural solution of the Leisure Centre is conditioned in principle by the urban junction in which it is located.
A feature plaza is formed by means of Italian steps, in the shape of a half moon, that rise up to create a podium which embraces the main roundabout and acts as a focal point for public gatherings and performances. From this platform the public are orientated towards the different volumes and spaces of the Centre.
The most novel and distinguished feature of this Centre is the way the public is distributed entirely via external spaces and walkways to the various premises all of which can be seen from the public highway, thereby breaking away from the traditional stereotype of the enclosed Leisure complex.
