Within Caleido, we distinguish the commercial street at the level of Paseo de la Castellana, where the cubes are located—10 tertiary-use spaces featuring large stores and restaurants. The use of different materials on the facade of the cubes gives it a more dynamic and modern look.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Caleido is a multifaceted and dynamic space, which is constantly changing. It is a commercial area which hosts diverse profiles who seek new experiences and a variety of offerings. Therefore, the commercial concept developed is based on the idea of adaptable, welcoming spaces connected to art, urban life, and popular culture.
Caleido is the centrepiece of the business area and its large basement, serving as a social interaction and the economic-commercial engine of the whole complex. Its design aims to create a city by redefining a new urban centre in an area that has been inhospitable and bleak until now.
ITS MAIN GOAL IS TO CREATE CITY, SO ITS PRINCIPAL SPACES ARE CONNECTED TO THE OUTSIDE AND SURROUNDED BY STREETS, PLAZAS, A COMMERCIAL AREA, AND A PARK THAT PROVIDE SERVICES, CONNECTIONS, AND RESTING AREAS TO A POPULATION THAT PREVIOUSLY LACKED THEM.
